Here's the short version of what we gather when you use VFeatureCard:

  • Your account details: name, email, and profile photo — usually pulled in when you sign up through Google or another provider we support.
  • What's on your card: job title, contact info, social links, and any photos you upload to build out your digital business card.
  • How your card gets used: views, clicks, and other interaction data, so you can actually see how your networking is doing.
  • Basic device info: browser, OS, IP address, and device identifiers — collected automatically, mostly for security and keeping things running smoothly.

2. What We Actually Do With It

Nothing sneaky — we use this data to:

  • Build, display, and keep your digital card up and running.
  • Show you analytics on how your card is performing.
  • Verify it's really you and keep your account secure.
  • Fix bugs and make the platform better over time.
  • Send you the occasional important update about the service.

3. Who Else Sees Your Data

We don't sell your data — full stop. That said, a few trusted partners help us run things:

  • Sign-in providers: when you log in via Google or similar, they only get the minimum needed to verify your identity.
  • Hosting:your card data lives on Cloudflare's infrastructure, so their security practices apply too.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns, and we anonymize this data wherever we can.

4. Keeping Your Data Safe

Everything is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and we follow standard security practices to keep your data away from anyone who shouldn't see it. That said, no system connected to the internet can promise 100% security, and we'd rather be upfront about that than pretend otherwise.

5. Your Rights

You're always free to:

  • Ask us what personal data we hold about you.
  • Edit or correct that data anytime from your card's edit page.
  • Delete your account and everything tied to it — just reach out to us.
  • Opt out of data collection that isn't essential to the service.

6. Cookies

We use a small set of essential cookies to keep you logged in and your session running. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how people use the platform. You're welcome to manage or block these through your browser settings whenever you like.

7. Children's Privacy

VFeatureCard isn't built for anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from children. If we ever find out we have, we'll delete it right away.

8. If This Policy Changes

We may update this policy every now and then. Whenever we do, we'll post the new version here with a fresh date, so it's worth checking back occasionally.
